DOBRO: DISCOVER AND UNDERSTAND
The hour-and-a-half lesson will be devoted to discovering the dobrolapsteel, of the instrument and playing technique, as well as mastery of the various accessories (steel bar, (tabs). A simple melody will be studied, as well as the possible types of accompaniment for a song. Different working approaches will be proposed and adapted according to the audience, and particular attention will be paid to techniques of slide. At the end of the workshop, students will be able to use all the knowledge acquired to shine in jam sessions and in society, thanks to this wonderful instrument.

Prerequisites : Owning your own dobro lap steel guitar (dobro and "roundneck" guitars not accepted), its tabs (thumb, index, middle) and its steel bar
